What is BRUTAL Optimizer?

BRUTAL Optimizer Pro is a Windows app that tunes your PC and games for lower latency, smoother frames, and a cleaner, lighter system, and it is built around one promise: it tells you the truth. No fake "PC sped up 300%" numbers, no ads in any tier, and no tricks that quietly harm your hardware.

What it actually does

The app is a single toolbox split into a handful of areas. From one window you can:

• Monitor your system live on the Dashboard: real CPU, GPU, and RAM usage updated every second, top memory users, uptime, and a Performance Score.
• Apply optimizations on the Optimize page: 22 modules covering process and service trimming, network tuning, power plans, GPU tweaks, input lag, and more. Most are reversible with a per-module Undo.
• Clean up disk space honestly on Disk Cleaner, with verified freed bytes measured before and after.
• Update drivers through Windows Update, and check NVIDIA directly for a newer GeForce driver.
• Tune games and emulators with per-game profiles, an FPS overlay, and a background Guardian that applies gaming optimizations automatically when it sees a game running.
• Harden privacy and check security with reversible telemetry toggles and an Integrity Audit.

The honesty promise

This is the part that sets the app apart from typical "PC boosters":

• SSDs are never defragmented. The app only ever defragments a confirmed spinning hard drive; for flash drives it runs the correct maintenance (TRIM/ReTrim) and never overwrites your data.
• Freed disk space is verified. After a clean, the app re-measures your free space and reports the real number, not an inflated estimate.
• No fake render rates. The FPS readout shows a real present rate only while a game is detected; otherwise it honestly shows a dash and "No game".
• No ads, in any tier. The ad system was removed entirely so the free tier is the whole toolbox minus a few Pro automation and deep-tuning features.
• Changes are reversible wherever possible, with per-module Undo and a "Restore Defaults" option in Settings.

What you need to run it

• Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.
• Administrator rights. The app changes registry keys, services, and power settings, so Windows will show a UAC prompt each time it launches.
• An email, if you want one. Signing in is passwordless and optional; it lets you recover your license on another PC.

Is it safe to use?

The app sticks to documented, supported Windows mechanisms: in-box tools like defrag.exe and fsutil, Windows Update for drivers, and standard registry and power settings. It installs no kernel driver and does not hook into games, so it is anti-cheat-safe. Risky changes are clearly labeled, ask for confirmation, and can be undone.
