Acceptable Use Policy

Effective 28 July 2026. This policy is part of the Terms of Service you accepted — the BRUTAL Optimizer for Windows Terms incorporate it by reference. BRUTAL Optimizer for Android has its own Acceptable Use Policy with the same rules, which the BRUTAL Optimizer for Android Terms incorporate. It is published by ARHAS INDIA (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, registered office Hyderabad, India ("we", "us"). If you break this policy, the enforcement section below applies, and under your Terms you are responsible (you indemnify us) for claims that arise from your breach.

If documents disagree: your product's Terms carry a short summary of these rules. If that summary and this policy say different things about what use is acceptable, this policy controls. On everything else — fees, refunds, liability, disputes — your product's Terms prevail over this policy.

1. No unlawful use

Don't use our software or our servers to do anything illegal. For BRUTAL Optimizer for Windows that mostly speaks for itself. For BRUTAL Optimizer for Android it matters enormously, because when you route traffic through one of our relays, that traffic exits from our IP addresses — so your conduct lands on our doorstep. Through the relays, you must not transmit, request, or distribute:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors — in any form, for any reason. This is the one category where there is no warning step: we terminate immediately and report to the appropriate authorities as the law requires.
• Fraud or deception — phishing, scams, payment fraud, identity theft, account takeover of other people's accounts.
• Attacks — DDoS or traffic flooding, unauthorized access attempts, port scanning of third parties, malware distribution or command-and-control, or any attempt to disrupt someone else's systems or games.
• Sanctioned or embargoed uses — using the service from, for, or on behalf of persons or territories where applicable trade-sanctions or export laws prohibit it.
• Anything else unlawful under the law that applies where you are, or under the law of the relay's location to the extent it applies to traffic transiting that relay — including infringing others' intellectual property through the tunnel. Conduct directed at us or our infrastructure must also be lawful where we are (India).

Honest note on how this squares with our privacy promises: relays don't inspect or log the contents of your game traffic, and we like it that way. This section is not a surveillance promise in reverse — it's the rule we enforce when abuse is reported to us or shows up in signals we can see without logging your traffic: aggregate traffic volume, abuse complaints from other networks and from game publishers, and our hosting providers' own abuse and netflow alerts.

2. No cheating tools or game tampering

Both products are built on the same engineering promise, and this policy holds you to the same standard we hold ourselves:

• What we do: BRUTAL Optimizer for Windows tunes Windows — registry settings, process priorities, timers, drivers. BRUTAL Optimizer for Android routes your selected game's traffic through a relay. Neither product modifies game files, injects code into games, reads game memory, or interferes with anti-cheat software. Ever.
• What you must not do: use our products together with, or as cover for, cheating tools — aimbots, wallhacks, memory editors, packet manipulation or replay tools, scripts that automate gameplay, or anything that modifies a game client or its traffic contents. Don't use BRUTAL Optimizer for Android to evade a game ban, dodge a matchmaking penalty, spoof your region (it only routes within your own region — don't try to defeat that), or circumvent a publisher's technical measures.

3. Keys and accounts are yours alone

• No resale or redistribution of keys. License keys (sub_, gift_, found_, giveaway keys) are personal to the account or email they were issued to. Don't sell, rent, trade, publish, or bulk-transfer them. A key obtained through resale or a leak can be revoked without refund.
• Gift and giveaway keys are promotional grants to a specific person. Farming entries with disposable emails, or claiming a grant more than once, forfeits the keys involved.
• Device and seat limits are real limits. One machine per desktop key; the device cap on BRUTAL Optimizer for Android accounts. Don't share one account across a group, and don't reset or spoof device identifiers to stack extra seats.
• Gifting is fine. Giving one unused key to one person as a genuine gift is not "resale". Operating a key shop is.

4. No reverse engineering for circumvention

Don't reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with our software, our update channel, or our APIs in order to circumvent license checks, entitlement checks, safety kill-switches, relay authentication, or any ad-based reward gate, tier check, or free-capacity limit we operate — and don't build, distribute, or use tools that do.

The carve-out, stated plainly: nothing in this section restricts what applicable law expressly permits you to do — including acts permitted under India's Copyright Act, 1957 (such as observing, studying, or testing a lawfully obtained program, or reverse engineering strictly necessary for interoperability with other software, where the needed information isn't otherwise readily available). If you find a vulnerability, report it to us at legal@brutaloptimizer.com instead of exploiting or publishing it first.

Where security research is welcome — the exact boundary: good-faith research on your own device, against your own installed copy of the software, is welcome. Any testing that touches our live infrastructure — relays, control plane, APIs, or website — is different: it needs our prior written authorization, whoever's device it runs from (see section 6). Ask for it at legal@brutaloptimizer.com; we answer.

5. Don't abuse the free tier

The free tiers are genuinely free and we intend to keep them that way. What kills free tiers is abuse, so:

• No ad fraud. Don't fake, automate, replay, or otherwise manipulate rewarded-ad views, and don't use tools that spoof ad completion. This defrauds the ad network, not just us, and it's the fastest way to get the free tier shut down for everyone.
• No seat farming. Don't create multiple accounts, rotate disposable emails, or reset device identifiers to multiply free relay capacity, dodge the device cap, or hoard limited free seats.
• No entitlement circumvention. Don't bypass any ad-based reward gate, tier check, or free-capacity limit we operate, and don't automate the apps or APIs to claim capacity a human user wouldn't.

6. Don't attack the service itself

• No probing, scanning, load-testing, or attempting to breach the relays, control plane, APIs, or website — unless we have given you prior written authorization for security testing. (Section 4 explains the boundary: research against your own installed copy on your own device is always welcome; anything that touches live infrastructure needs authorization first — request it at legal@brutaloptimizer.com.)
• No scraping or bulk-harvesting our APIs, keys, or catalog data; no automated account creation.
• No routing anything through a relay other than your own selected game's traffic via the app — the relays are not a general-purpose VPN or proxy.
• No interfering with other users' sessions or capacity.

7. How we enforce this

Proportionate, human, and in this order for ordinary breaches:

• 1. Warn. First or minor breach: we tell you what we saw and what to stop. Most cases end here.
• 2. Suspend. Continued or serious breach: we temporarily suspend the account, key, or relay access while we look into it. You can reply and explain — mistakes and false positives get reversed.
• 3. Terminate. Repeated, deliberate, or grave breaches: we permanently terminate the account and revoke associated keys. Only in these cases — deliberate, repeated, or grave breach — do you forfeit fees for the remaining unused part of your term; a breach that only ever reached the warning step never costs you your subscription. This is subject to the Refund Policy, and except where law requires otherwise — your non-waivable rights under Indian consumer law are unaffected.
• 4. Legal referral. Where the conduct is unlawful or endangers others, we refer the matter to law enforcement or other authorities and cooperate as the law requires.

8. Reporting abuse

If you see abuse of our products or traffic from our relay IPs that shouldn't be happening, tell us: legal@brutaloptimizer.com with the subject line "Abuse report". Include what you saw, when, and any IPs or logs you can share. Network operators and game publishers are welcome to use the same address. We read every report and act on the credible ones.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. For material changes — anything that adds a prohibition, tightens enforcement, or otherwise changes your position for the worse — we will notify account holders by email or in-app notice at least 15 days before the change takes effect, as well as updating this page with a new effective date. Editorial changes (clarity, typos, contact details) may appear on this page without individual notice. The version in effect at the time of your use is the one that applies.
