Gaming optimizer to boost FPS — without the fake numbers

Real latency, scheduling, GPU and network work. No kernel driver of our own. No game hooks. No "+50 FPS guaranteed" lie — only the changes that actually move your frame pacing and 1% lows.

01 The pitch

What a gaming optimizer to boost FPS should actually do

Most "boosters" kill a few processes, flash a number, and call it done. That's theatre.

Your FPS comes from your GPU, your CPU scheduler, your drivers, and how Windows times everything. A registry tweak doesn't bend physics. So BRUTAL goes after the parts that genuinely shape a frame: the system timer, input-to-photon latency, GPU driver settings, the Windows scheduler, and the network path to the game server. Where there's a real win, you get it. Where there isn't, you don't get a fake one — that trade is the entire point. Want the honest take on why most boosters are placebo? Read the breakdown.

02 The big one

Anti-cheat safe by design, not by luck

Nobody fears low FPS half as much as a ban. So this was the first design constraint, not an afterthought.

What's real Everything runs in user mode with tools Windows already ships — powercfg, fsutil, defrag.exe, the Windows Update API, winget. The FPS overlay reads the display's frame-presentation rate from Windows' own graphics statistics (the documented D3DKMT API). It never reads game memory. It never hooks the renderer.
What we refuse to ship No kernel driver of our own. No DirectX or Vulkan hooks. No DLL injection into your game. No WFP or network TAP driver sniffing your traffic. Nothing Vanguard, EAC or BattlEye has a reason to flag.

The honest catch: because the overlay reads the display's frame-presentation rate from Windows' own statistics (the D3DKMT API), its number tracks what the display actually presents. That lines up closely with in-game FPS, but it isn't a renderer-level hook — that's the price of leaving your anti-cheat alone, and it's the right call. Same rule for the built-in System Integrity Audit: it reads files at rest and WMI metadata only, never opens a game process, and allow-lists BattlEye, EAC, Riot and emulator components before it shows anything. The full technical rundown lives on the anti-cheat safety page.

03 Real wins

The tuning that actually touches a frame

Specific, reversible, tied to a real Windows mechanism. Not vibes.

Optional 0.5 ms timer target

An Advanced module can request a lower timer interval while active. It may change pacing on some systems, but can increase wakeups, power use and heat; no FPS gain is guaranteed.

Input-latency controls

Mouse acceleration, USB selective suspend and HID settings are explicit Caution choices because they can affect battery life and device stability. Measure the result on your own hardware.

GPU tuning (NVIDIA / AMD / Intel)

Vendor-aware driver preferences and deeper MSI, cache and presentation settings remain explicit Caution or Advanced modules, with rollback only where the prior state can be captured safely.

Game Mode + scheduler

The broadly safe automatic default enables supported Game Mode and scheduler preferences. Power plans, core parking and persistent IFEO priority are separate explicit modules.

Network measurement and tuning

Bufferbloat, traceroute and server latency are measured first. TCP and per-adapter changes are explicit because a poor fit can reduce throughput or break connectivity.

Hook-free display overlay

Uses Windows display-presentation statistics without renderer hooks or injection. In windowed or borderless mode it may reflect desktop composition rather than exact title FPS, and Intel sensor coverage is limited.

Explicit full-module review

Run All is never the automatic default. It shows a separate warning, attempts a restore point, stops on a failed module, and rolls back earlier undoable modules when the safety pipeline fails.

That's a slice. The full features page lists all 22 modules with what each one changes and whether it's free or Pro. Seventeen are free.

04 Input chain

Where the milliseconds hide

Click-to-photon is a chain of stages. The input-lag optimizer trims the three Windows adds latency to — the rest is physics.

MOUSE CLICK USB POLL HID STACK DPC DISPATCH GAME RENDER PHOTON BRUTAL trims these three mouse-accel off · USB suspend off · HID buffer + DPC latency tuned your hand your eyes

Run the overlay, play, watch which number caves under load. Then apply the module that targets that bottleneck. Our step-by-step guide to increasing FPS the honest way walks the whole loop.

05 Frame pacing

The overlay tells you the truth, in real time

Average FPS hides stutter. 1% lows and frame time don't.

What the HUD shows

A high average with ugly 1% lows feels worse than a lower, steadier number. So the overlay puts the metrics that matter front and centre.

Frame time — milliseconds per frame, sitting next to the 1% low so a rough patch shows up as more than a headline average. The overlay reports the running average; Hardware Monitor graphs it frame by frame, which is where a single hitch reads as a visible spike.
1% lows — the floor your experience actually lives on during a fight.
Live CPU / GPU / RAM — see whether you're GPU-bound, CPU-bound, or out of memory.
Network HUD — latency where you can watch it, for the games where ping decides the duel.

Guardian and per-game profiles for set-and-forget

Free does the manual work well. Pro does it for you, then cleans up after itself.

GuardianPRO

A background service that spots the game or app you launched, applies the right tuning — priority, timer, EcoQoS off, working-set lock — and reverts when you close it. No leftover state.

Per-game profilesPRO

44 hand-tuned PC profiles, plus 8 emulator profiles for mobile titles. Your hardware tier and GPU vendor pick the renderer, core count and settings instead of one blunt config for everyone.

Emulator performance tuningFREE

Play mobile titles on PC? Deep emulator tuning — IFEO priority, GPU, DWM, memory and network — for Android emulators. It tunes Windows and the emulator around the game; it cannot unlock a title's own frame cap. The emulator optimizer →

How many games — three numbers, not one

Boosters and gaming VPNs advertise a single four-digit count of "optimized games". Ours is smaller and means more, because these are three different things and only one of them is tuning.

Over 1,700 titles catalogued — each carries an anti-cheat class and a routing policy. That's a lookup table, not 1,700 tuned games, and we won't print it as though it were one.
44 hand-tuned PC profiles — process priority, game-server ports and tier-aware in-game settings guidance, written per title.
8 emulator profiles — mobile titles played on PC, tuned through the emulator rather than through the game.
7 cleared for fully automatic routing — a Smart Route (Ultra) policy. Every other title is manual-only, including the ones whose anti-cheat nobody has verified: those get the same manual-only treatment as a title we know ships a kernel driver.

The catalog is served live and grows, so these are the counts as this page was written — the Game Library inside the app shows the current list.

What's real Guardian reverts. Quit the game and the aggressive tuning comes off, so your desktop isn't stuck in a gaming power state. Idempotent every cycle — it won't stack changes on top of itself.
07 Smart Route ● BETA

Lower ping — but only when it's real

The one network win a registry tweak can't give you: a better path to the game server. Done honestly.

Smart Route reroutes your game's traffic through a nearby WireGuard relay — but only after it measures that the relay is genuinely faster than your ISP's direct path. When your route is already good, it says so and stays direct. No "lag-free" promises and no phantom server count. Nothing touches the game: read-only detection plus a standard WireGuard tunnel, no injection, no kernel driver of ours, and only your game's server traffic moves. Whether a publisher allows relayed traffic is a separate question and their call — so kernel-anti-cheat titles, and any title whose anti-cheat we haven't verified, are never routed automatically.

Measured, not promised

Times your direct ping and the relay ping side by side, and reroutes only when the relay wins by 8 ms-equivalent or more — ping, jitter and packet loss counted together, so a steadier route can win without a lower ping. Otherwise it stays direct.

A relay that never touches the game

A WireGuard split-tunnel carrying only game-server traffic. No injection, and kernel-anti-cheat titles like Valorant are excluded from auto-routing.

Real relays, named

Every relay is a real machine in a named location — India, Asia-Pacific, the Gulf, Europe and the Americas — auto-selected by measured round-trip, on cloud regions behind provider-level DDoS scrubbing. The app shows the live list; we don't pad it with a fake "2,000 servers."

Part of the Ultra tier Smart Route lives in Ultra (everything in Pro, plus the relay). Measuring your route is free for everyone; engaging a relay needs Ultra. Your module count doesn't change. See the full Smart Route breakdown →
08 The honest part

What this won't do

What it refuses matters as much as what it does.

What we refuse to ship No guaranteed FPS number. No "RAM booster" reselling freed memory as performance. No defragging an SSD — flash gets TRIM, and only a confirmed spinning HDD ever sees defrag.exe. No disabling SysMain, Prefetch or your pagefile and calling it speed. No registry "cleaner" snake oil.

Persistent registry changes made by rollback-capable modules use protected per-module undo, and a restore point is attempted before the big ones. That, plus a genuinely full free tier, is the deal. If Pro ever lapses, the app drops to Free and every optimization you applied stays exactly as it was — nothing is reverted or held hostage. See the full pricing — Free with no time limit, Pro at $4.99 (charged as ₹499)/yr, and it renews yearly until you cancel.

09 Questions

The honest gaming FAQ

Will this get me banned in Valorant, Fortnite or Apex?

No kernel driver of our own, no DirectX hooks, no injection into the game. The overlay reads frame counts from Windows' own display statistics (the D3DKMT API) instead of hooking the renderer, so Vanguard, EAC and BattlEye have nothing to read. Details on the safety page.

How many extra FPS will I get?

Nobody honest can put a number on it — it depends on your hardware and your bottleneck. BRUTAL does the real timer, input, GPU, scheduler and network work. That often shows up as steadier frame pacing and better 1% lows rather than a bigger average. It will never fake a figure.

Is the FPS overlay free?

Yes. The overlay with frame time, 1% lows, live CPU/GPU/RAM and the network HUD ships in the free tier. Most gaming modules are free too — 17 of 22. Only deep tuning and Guardian automation are Pro.

Do I need an account to download?

No. The download is free and account-free. Pro is annual only, and the free tier is genuinely usable, not a crippled trial.
