What you get that the others don't
Most "optimizers" are junk-and-registry cleaners with a boost button. Every comparison table on the internet is built by whoever wins it. So here are the boxes we leave empty on purpose. If one of these is what you need, buy the tool that has it — we'd rather tell you than sell you.

How is BRUTAL different from CCleaner, Razer Cortex or IObit Advanced SystemCare?
Most of those are junk and registry cleaners with "boost" marketing. BRUTAL skips registry "cleaning" (Microsoft doesn't recommend it for performance) and fake boost numbers, shows real before-and-after measurements, provides protected per-module undo where supported, and ships no kernel driver of its own so it stays out of anti-cheat’s way. Is BRUTAL Optimizer better than other PC optimizers?
It's more honest. Most optimizers ship placebo — fake RAM boosts, SSD defrag, registry cleaning and "+300% FPS" buttons. BRUTAL only ships changes it can name and measure, with per-module undo on every registry change, so you can actually tell what worked.
Do PC optimizers and game boosters actually work?

Is BRUTAL free?
Yes for the core. 17 of 22 modules, the full FPS overlay, and every disk, drive, network and repair tool are free with no ads. Pro adds automation and deep tuning.
Does BRUTAL have ads or bundleware?
No. The app ships no ads and no third-party offers. The only other program setup can install is the official WireGuard for Windows, which Smart Route needs, and only when it is missing. The free tier is the whole toolbox minus the automation and the deep-tuning modules.
Does it include security & ad-blocking?
Yes — and honestly. The free Security Center wraps the Microsoft Defender already in Windows (no second engine, no signatures of its own) to show your live protection and run scans, plus reversible one-tap hardening. A native System Integrity Audit gives a persistence audit of where persistence hides — WMI consumers, IFEO hijacks, rogue tasks, hosts/proxy redirects — with no driver and no injection, allow-listing anti-cheat and emulators first. And system-wide ad, tracker and malware blocking runs through a filtering DNS resolver — not a hosts-file hack, so there's no giant blocklist to choke Windows and turning it off restores the captured DNS configuration with an automatic-DNS fallback.
