How to read this page: it is static hosting that checks api.brutaloptimizer.com/status from your browser, so it stays reachable even when the API is not. Grey means "could not check" — a failed check can also be your own connection or a blocking extension, so we never render it as an outage. The desktop app fails safe on its own: if the API is unreachable, licensed features keep working from the cached license and Smart Route falls back to your direct connection.
