How it works
Pick your game and tap Connect. The app finds the live relays in your region and measures your ping to each one. It routes your game through the lowest-ping relay, moves any relay that recently failed with that game to the back of the line, and tries the runner-up if the first one does not connect. It confirms the relay connection before it opens your game. While you play, it keeps checking the relay, and if the relay stops carrying your game, it returns the game to your normal connection. Disconnect whenever you like.
Only the game you pick is routed. The app does this with Android's VPN service, so Android shows its VPN key icon while a route runs. Everything else on your phone stays as it was: your browser, your other apps and their background data never touch the relay.
Where our relays run
We run relays in countries including India, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Bahrain, Germany, the United States and Brazil. The app uses a live relay in your own region, and we add new locations from our side, without an app update.
Free and Ultra
- Free: watch a short rewarded ad before you connect.
- Ultra: no ads, and a share of relay capacity kept for subscribers. Ultra is bought only in the app, through Google Play.
BRUTAL Optimizer for Android is for users aged 18 and over.
Built to stay out of the game
BRUTAL Optimizer never modifies, injects into or reads from the game itself. Each game's publisher sets its own rules about relays and VPNs, so please read section 4 of our Terms before you connect.
