System Health: the status summary and one-click tune-up

The System Health page (under PC Optimizer in the sidebar) is your quick status check. It pulls together a cached, at-a-glance summary of three things: your driver status, your app-update status, and how much junk is sitting on your disk. It does not run a fresh deep scan every time you open it — it shows the last-known summary so the page loads instantly. Open the dedicated tools when you want a live scan.

Below the summary it offers a one-click tune-up. This runs two safe things in one pass:

• A safe junk clean — the allow-listed, low-risk junk categories, the same engine behind the Disk Cleaner.
• Privacy hardening — a set of reversible telemetry/tracking toggles from the Privacy Center.

System Health vs. Boost Now — two different buttons

It's easy to confuse the two one-click buttons in the app. They do different things:

When to use it

Use the System Health tune-up when you want a fast, low-risk cleanup without thinking about individual modules — it won't touch power plans, the network stack, or anything else that changes how your system runs. For full control over what gets cleaned or which privacy toggles are on, open the Disk Cleaner and Privacy Center directly.

FAQ

Can I undo the System Health tune-up?
The junk clean can't be undone (the files are permanently deleted to actually free space). The privacy hardening can — revert any toggle in the Privacy Center.

Why does it open instantly when the real scans take time?
The page shows a cached summary of your last-known status rather than re-scanning. Run a live scan from the individual tools when you want fresh numbers.

Is the status here the same as my performance score?
No. The performance score lives on the Home dashboard — see the dashboard and performance score.
